Please ask your child to show you our awesome Room 2 Blog. The purpose of this blog is to encourage parents and children to discuss there learning and reflect on their learning.
E port folios
Each child in Room 2 has there own E port folio where they are learning to upload examples of there work and pictures of what we do at school. Please ask your child to share their E port folio with you.
Homework
The class has all being set up with the Study Ladder homework website that they access through the class web page. I am a able to set tasks for the students and check who has completed tasks, how they scored, see areas they need to work and offer encouragement by messaging them. Please read the attached letter for more information and get your child to show you the website.letter-home-nz.pdf

The best maths site ever! Jenny Ether is an amazing Australian teacher/Web designer. She has created a number of awesome sites to help support children with their learning.
Maths Dictionary has all those new maths strategies that we teach at school in a fun interactive and easy to understand format. I really would encourage you to check these sites out and spend some time with your child on them.
